Tris di Bruschetta with Cottage Cheese

  • 500 g cottage cheese
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric or curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon red sweet pepper
  • pinch of crushed hot peppers
  • fresh herbs (dill, parsley, chives)
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • slices corn flour baguette
  • slices white flour baguette
  • slices Pumpernickel bread
  • salt and pepper

preparation

  1. Combine the cottage cheese with sour cream and season with salt, pepper and finely chopped garlic.
  2. Separate into 3 parts. Season the first part with a teaspoon of turmeric or curry powder, the second with sweet and crushed peppers, and the third with fresh chopped herbs.
  3. Coat the sliced bread with olive oil and bake in the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes, making sure to turn it over for even crispiness.
  4. Cut the pumpernickel bread  in half to get triangles.

Serving

Optionally, generously apply the spicy portions of cheese onto bread and garnish with herbs, chili, cherry tomatoes, and other toppings.
