Camembert Fondue with Vegetables and Crackers

  • 1 Camembert cheese

  • 1 carrot

  • 2 stem celery stalks

  • 1 yellow pepper

  • a few radishes

  • a few champignons

  • 1/2 cucumber

  • 1/2 small zucchini

  • a few white and black grapes

  • a few grissini (breadsticks) or similar crackers

  • a few broccoli florets

  • 1 treviso radicchio

  • 1 cherry tomato stalk

preparation

  1. Blanch the broccoli briefly, clean the champignons and cut them into cubes. Peel and cut the carrot and celery stems into sticks. Prepare the peppers and cucumber by cutting them into long, thin pieces. Cut the zucchini into slices, cut the radishes in half, and wash the grapes. Break apart the trevisano radicchio into leaves and rinse thoroughly.
  2. Bake the cheese at 200°C for 20-30 minutes until it is melted from the inside and has a lovely colour. Position the cheese in the middle of the plate and surround it with the other prepared ingredients.

Serving

For a tastier experience, dip your vegetables, salad, or crackers into the melted cheese and refresh your palate with grapes in between bites.
