ISO 14001:2015 is an internationally recognised environmental management standard, and Vindija d.d. and Koka d.o.o. have successfully passed the certification process for their production sites, confirming their commitment to reducing the negative impact on the environment and complying with regulations. Vindija's production sites, which include three in Varaždin and one in Županja, include a wide range of products, such as dairy and plant-based products, fruit juices, soft drinks and quickly frozen bakery products. Koka's production site in Varaždin includes the production and processing of chicken meat, which includes an assortment of fresh and frozen chicken meat, meat preparations, sausage products, chicken and turkey meat products, and spicy breaded and baked products. The certificates received are the result of the huge commitment of various teams and departments within the company. A complex certification process, successfully implemented through joint work and cooperation between different business segments, emphasises the importance of teamwork in achieving sustainable business goals.

Certification of an environmental management system according to ISO 14001:2015 brings a number of significant advantages to the Vindija Group, primarily competitive advantages in public tenders. It also strengthens customer and consumer confidence and encourages employee engagement in environmental protection, while continuously improving the system and achieving goals in reducing the negative impact on the environment. In addition, with the establishment of the Department for Sustainable Development and ESG Operations in 2023, the Vindija Group took a key stride forward towards sustainable business. The Department is committed to implementing the highest standards in the areas of environmental sustainability, social responsibility and corporate governance.

The Vindija Group's long-term cooperation with the certification company SGS Adriatica began in 1996 with the first certificate for quality management ISO 9001 for Vindija. It then continued with the same certificate in Koka, followed by certification according to IFS Food and BRC GS standards in Vindija and Koka, as well as the certification of gluten-free products according to the AOECS standard in Koka.
