After the Vindija Group from Varaždin increased the salaries of its employees twice since September 2023 on the first day of October , the salaries of all employees of the Group's companies operating in Croatia will be increased once again. It is a new investment of almost HRK 19 million, which, together with the previous increases, represents slightly more than HRK 75 million more allocated for salaries on an annual basis.

Along with the signing of the collective bargaining agreement with Vindija employees at the beginning of the summer and the agreement with the Government of the Republic of Croatia on limiting the prices of milk and chicken, this autumn’s wage increase is an additional step for the leading food company in strengthening its market position, as well as employee satisfaction and consumer care. According to the decision of the Vindija Group Management Board, all employees will receive a higher gross salary for October, with a regular payment in November.

"The market share and good business results are a clear reflection of the work and efforts of every employee in the companies within the Vindija Group. We greatly appreciate their role and contribution, and increasing their salary is just one of the ways in which we want to improve their satisfaction. We are aware of how the situation on the market, inflation and the energy crisis affect the standard of living of citizens, and increasing wages was the only logical step. We want to strengthen our leadership position on the market and, as a desirable employer, continue to attract new, young and capable people who, thanks to their work and abilities, will improve the quality of their life and that of their families by working in one of the companies of the Group, which has been a leader in the domestic food industry for more than 60 years." said Nenad Klepač, President of the Vindija Management Board.

Continuous concern for employees in the form of salary increases, which follow the trends on the market, current increases in the prices of raw materials and energy, and the rise in food prices, are proof of Vindija's unquestionable commitment to the well-being of all Group members. In addition to regular salary increases, the Group regularly gives all employees, regardless of length of service or position in the company, holiday allowances and Christmas and Easter bonuses, finances school supplies, distributes jubilee prizes and provides employee trips, financial bonuses and product packages.
